SAR Times and IASARC: An Official Partnership

Search and rescue news, now backed by the community it covers.
SAR Times and IASARC: An Official Partnership

SAR Times has always been built for the people doing the work: the coordinators, responders, and researchers who live and breathe search and rescue. Today, that connection becomes official.

We're proud to announce that SAR Times is now a recognized partner of the International Association of Search and Rescue Coordinators (IASARC). SAR Times is now featured on the IASARC homepage, and we'll be working alongside the organization to keep the SAR community better informed, connected, and current.

What this means for readers

IASARC is one of the most respected networks in the SAR world, bringing together coordinators and professionals across disciplines and borders. Being part of that network means SAR Times isn't just reporting on the SAR community. It's embedded in it.

For subscribers, that translates to better sourcing, better context, and deeper coverage. We'll have direct insight into the issues IASARC members are tracking, the policy changes affecting operations, and the technology being tested in the field.

What SAR Times covers

Every week, SAR Times publishes a digest of stories from across the global search and rescue world to include active operations, emerging technology, policy and regulatory changes, and community news. The goal is simple: Give SAR professionals a fast, reliable way to stay current without having to chase it themselves.

If you're involved in SAR and you're not already subscribed, now is a good time to start.

Ryan Erickson is the editor of SAR Times and serves as Chief of Data at IASARC.
