Who writes SAR Times?
SAR Times is written by Ryan Erickson, a retired U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue leader with over 20 years of experience in SAR planning, operations, and policy. Ryan also serves as Chief Data Officer for the International Association of Search and Rescue Controllers (IASARC).
How often does it publish?
SAR Times publishes on a mostly-weekly schedule. Occasional weeks are skipped around holidays or when there simply isn't enough new SAR news to justify an edition.
